Intersil Corporation is a global technology leader specializing in the design and manufacture of high-performance analog and mixed signal semiconductors. Intersil’s solutions are used in products like flat panel displays, smartphones, automobiles, and industrial and military equipment. Intersil’s brand promise is “Simply Smarter.” Our job was to make sure their website felt that way. We set out to create a dynamic, clean, easily navigable, user-centric site combined with robust functionality that would help engineers make faster, better decisions.

Today, design engineers worldwide can search and access in-depth specifications, data sheets, schematics, design tips and tools, and images of devices. By offering these resources to a global audience, the new intersil.com makes their lives easier. The new site has reinvigorated Intersil’s brand, boosted engineers’ success, and ultimately increased sales.

With the success of the website re-design, we were given the task to update all of Intersil’’s print collateral and advertising. The previous style was dark and heavy, which did not reflect the direction of the brand, so we elevated it using a clean, uncluttered layout. We designed the main image to break through the red strip on the right, nodding to the website design and signifying the idea that Intersil is breaking boundaries with their innovative products.

Consistency is integral to any successful brand strategy. So on every level, Intersil had to be consistent in design, messaging and delivery on their promise: “Simply Smarter.” We updated all of Intersil’s communications to speak with one voice. We applied the fresh branding update to their PPT template, e-newsletters, online banner ads and even a custom video player. The results so far have been “amazing” As an example, online banner ad click through rates have more than tripled.
