The IDSA-SF is a non-profit with the mission to advance and inspire design throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. It was an honor to be asked to design the identity and event materials for this year’s Bay Area’s Best event, which celebrates the year in design and recognizes the amazing award-winning industrial designs from the Bay Area. Our design encompasses the process of industrial design, from conceptual wire-frames to dimensional prototype solutions and all the touch-points in between, encorporating collaboration across all facets. The vivid gemstone shapes represents both the high quality of local design and the multi-faceted strategic design thinking required.
This year’s Bay Area’s Best was bigger than ever. The main celebration featured a curated selection of Bay Area designed and produced products and two days of inspiring design talks where “Designers Talk Shop” about their work. We applied the design to Power Point templates, environmental signage, e-mail blast, plaques, and to the photo booth prints.
